Did you at least ask to take the food that they had already cooked along with you? It sounds like there is more to this story that you are not telling? Come on, were you just too cheap to stay until the bill would surely arrive? Were you on the verge of being thrown out anyway? What gives?- Is follow up to post by rshapiro ...
After ordering, we had to leave after the first course when my companion became ill. I explained the problem and was asked to pay the bill for the entire meal. They had a right to do so; nevertheless, they lost our good will and future business by their utter lack of consideration. I ended up paying $125 for a meal in which they never even served the main courses. -- 6/18/2001 10:41:07 AM
